Sherry Patterson is a real estate entrepreneur, investor, and business leader with more than 20 years of experience in company startups, operations, and project management. A graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in Entrepreneurship, Sherry brings an operational perspective to real estate investing, with an emphasis on efficient execution, strategic planning, and long-term relationships.

Sherry is the founder and Broker of Aspire Realty Team, which provides investment-focused real estate services to clients across the country. In addition to managing her own real estate investments, she has completed hundreds of real estate transactions for clients, developing extensive experience in property sourcing, market analysis, acquisitions, and residential investment.

An active leader in the Dallas–Fort Worth real estate investment community, Sherry founded IMPACT in 2013 to connect investors, share knowledge, and expand access to real estate education. She organizes multiple investor groups with a combined membership of more than 8,000, and regularly serves as a speaker and mentor in the real estate investment industry. She is also a co-author of the bestselling book Success Habits of Super Achievers.

Through her leadership of Aspire Realty and her broader investment experience, Sherry contributes real estate market knowledge, transaction expertise, operational discipline, and a strong network of industry relationships to the businesses associated with Gorilla Capital Partners.

Mickey Patterson is an entrepreneur and real estate investment professional with experience spanning residential and commercial real estate development, construction, capital raising, technology sales, business development, and government contracting.

As Managing Partner of Gorilla Capital Partners, Mickey focuses on investment strategy, capital relationships, acquisitions, and real estate development opportunities. His investment background includes raising and deploying millions of dollars in investor capital across real estate ventures, with experience in investment structuring, project execution, and investor relations.

Mickey earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, where he completed the ROTC program and received an active-duty commission as a U.S. Army communications officer. His engineering education and military leadership background contribute to a structured, analytical approach to business operations and investment decision-making.

Prior to and alongside his real estate activities, Mickey built more than two decades of experience in sales, strategic partnerships, and business development, supporting Fortune 500 companies and major U.S. government and military programs.

Together with Sherry, Mickey has participated in real estate investment activities dating back to the early 2000s, including residential investments, renovations, new construction, land development, and investment partnerships. His current focus is identifying and evaluating land acquisition and development opportunities, structuring capital relationships, and coordinating the resources needed to execute real estate investment strategies.

Outside of business, Mickey enjoys coaching rugby and spending time on the family farm with Sherry and their family.
